The 24th Annual Collin Classic Bike Rally was held on Saturday, June 13th, in McKinney, Tex. Catering to the serious cyclist, the weekend rider, and family riders, there is something for every level of interest at the Collin Classic.
The rally offers open-road routes from 21 to 63 miles in length. Routes are designed to maximize rider experience taking into account traffic congestion and chip-seal. We are looking at a new, better, location for start/finish in 2016 – details to come!
Throughout each route, riders enjoyed fully-stocked rest stops and a variety of cyclist support services including law enforcement, professional medical services, SAG vehicles, roving bike mechanics, and ride guides.
Proceeds from the event benefit City House – a nonprofit agency in Collin County that has been protecting and sheltering abused and homeless youth since 1988.
