This year, the charity fundraiser will start at Mesquite Rodeo Convention Center (at Military Parkway and I-635 L.B.J. Freeway) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015. Cyclists will have the choice of 20, 42, or 65-mile courses. In addition to the controlled ride, those registering will get breakfast food and a catered lunch from Panera Bread Cafe of Mesquite, Whataburger of Mesquite and more, and a goody bag of gifts from area businesses. Post-ride, beer will be available for purchase at the Mesquite Rodeo’s 8 Second Bar.
All registered riders 18 years of age or older will be eligible to enter a raffle to win a new $2,500 Trek Emonda SL 6 Road Bike from Richardson Bike Mart, or other great door prizes. The bike raffle drawing will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Ride day at the Rodeo’s 8 Second Bar. Riders must be present to win. See Official Rules for complete details.
The first 1,300 to register will also receive a Dry Fit Performance event t-shirt. Early registration until May 1st costs only $30.00 for adults, $30 for 1st tandem rider and $20 for 2nd tandem rider, and $20.00 for kids age 14 and under. May 1st until ride day, registration costs $35.00 for adults, $35 for 1st tandem rider and $25 for 2nd tandem rider, and $25.00 for kids. Ride day registration will be $40.00 for adults, $40 for 1st tandem rider and $30 for 2nd tandem rider, and $30.00 for kids. On site registration will begin at 6:00 that morning.
